The Air Jordan 3 "Knicks" colorway is the special youth sizing of the homage-paying design inspired by one of Michael Jordan's greatest on-court rivals, the New York Knicks.
The battles between Jordan's Chicago Bulls and the Patrick Ewing-led Knicks are well documented, as both teams fought for Eastern Conference supremacy in the 1990s.
With too many memorable moments between the two teams to name here, the Air Jordan 3 "Knicks" colorway gives fans of the team and sneakers a chance to put their differences with Jordan and the Bulls aside.
The upper features a premium white leather construction with a smooth white leather mudguard adding to the look.
Contrasting elephant print, a Jordan 3 signature styling cue, appears on the eyelets, toe cap, and lateral panel.
The team uniform colors of the Knicks, blue and orange, cover various areas of the shoe with the bold orange mudguard on the lateral panel highlighting the design.
A blue Jumpman logo on the heel and tongue completes the upper while visible Air in the heel of the midsole aids in all-day comfort.
